Sony Ericsson has announced the G502, which aims to extend the company’s range of Web-enabled devices to give it a broader, mainstream appeal
Sony Ericsson G502 brings the power of the Web to a more affordable phone segment, enabling even more users to stay up-to-date with high-speed Web browsing and fast downloads, the company says.Landing in the next month or two, the G502 will be available in Champagne Black or Brilliant Hazel.
"The G502 is the latest in a line of classic Sony Ericsson phones that cram time-saving features into a pocket-sized phone" says Martin Winkler, director of global marketing and head of multimedia web at Sony Ericsson. "It improves on its predecessors by adding HSDPA for high-speed Web connectivity."Coming to the other phone, the Sony P5’s keyboard layout will resemble the one that’s found in the M600, which has 2 characters on a key. It seems as though the shortcut button around the D-pad is using touch sensor is like the W960 walkman phone.
The Sony Ericsson G502 handset is expected to be available in two colors - hazel and black, and though there’s no official word on its pricing or availability, it could perhaps launch by June-end.
